Apple Dijon Sauerkraut Brats
Ingredients (Yield 5)
1 package of Johnsonville Bratwursts of your choice
1 package Aunt Millie's Whole Grain Mini Sub Buns
2 tart green apples, such as Granny Smith, peeled and cut into cubes
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 c. drained sauerkraut
1/2 c. chicken stock
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
Cook bratwursts according to package directions.
Heat a medium skillet over medium heat, and sauté the onion and apple for about 5 minutes.
Add the sauerkraut, Dijon mustard, and chicken stock to the pan.
Simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Put a brat in each bun, and top with the sauerkraut mixture.
